This chair was presented in an exhibition exploring the origins of forms that have profoundly influenced the artist’s sense of sculpture. It embodies the image of an arched bridge connecting two towers and the green square unfolding beyond. The work evokes both the grandeur of medieval Western architecture and, at the same time, the atmosphere of a ruined backdrop from a video game.
